Prayer

The time we spend with the Lord in prayer can release dynamic and powerful changing effects on the world we live in:

Watch And Pray Always

"Be always on the watch and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36)

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.  The Spirit is willing, but the body is weak" (Matt 26:41).

Pray For Workers

"He told them, The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore to send out workers into his harvest field" (Luke 10:2).

Pray For Those In Authority

"I urge, then first of all, that prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness" (1 Tim 2:1,2).

Pray For Your Enemies

"Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:28).
