What exactly is self-control?
Self-control is needed over many areas of our lives; our
thoughts, our actions, our emotions, our lifestyle etc. The way we exercise it will truly bring about
a breakthrough in our lives. The Bible
has many references on self-control and below are some that may encourage you.
2 Peter 1:5-6
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your
faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control,
and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,

Proverbs 25:28
A man without self-control is like a city broken into and
left without walls.
